The Hindu Business Line: Gentari, Shell partner to expand EV charging access across India

Gentari announced that its green mobility division, Gentari Green Mobility India, has formed a strategic roaming partnership with Shell India to improve access to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the country.

“By combining Gentari’s scalable, technology-led solutions with Shell’s premium locations, we are strengthening our commitment to building efficient, user-centric infrastructure that supports India’s shift toward low-carbon mobility,” said Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India.

Nikhil Thomas is a dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience spanning Sales, Strategy, Operations, Finance, Product, Expansion, and Start-ups. He currently serves as the CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India, a position he has held since February 2024, after previously serving as COO. Thomas is also the Co-Founder & CEO of TruckEasy, an intra-city trucking and delivery platform he established in December 2015. His background includes leading planning for intercity supply chain and fresh business at udaan.com, and regional operations management at Arval BNP Paribas Group. He began his career at Tata Motors, where he managed logistics and customer support. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
