CIMB Islamic has pledged RM1 million to accelerate conservation efforts in Penang Hill and Royal Belum. The funding supports biodiversity conservation through wildlife canopy bridges, food waste composting, and community education in Penang Hill, while Royal Belum initiatives focus on restoring the endangered seladang population. This biodiversity conservation program also involves habitat improvement and saltlick maintenance with Orang Asli participation. Since 2008, CIMB Islamic’s EcoSave-i initiative has contributed over RM12 million to biodiversity conservation nationwide.
